I am an avid reader, nature educator, explorer, and professional editor. I spent my childhood reading in trees, on trampolines, under my desk at school, in the backseat of the car on road trips, and under the covers of my bed until the early hours of the morning. As an adult, audiobooks have become the constant background of my days, and I love being wrapped up in a murder mystery as I clean the house, hike, bike, or travel between cities. I have a deep respect for the power of the written word, and love nothing more than to help authors capture and amplify that power in their own writing.

I live on small San Juan Island off the coast of Washington State with my partner, our boy-girl twins, and two black cats. I spend my free time flying kites at the beach, foraging for mushrooms, and riding my bike.
